Information

The photo gallery is powered by zenphoto and Slimbox. Early color pictures are taken with a Pentax ZX-50 using two Pentax lenses (35-80 and 80-320) and possibly simple filters. The films are Kodak Gold 200 and Fuji Superia 200 when using negatives, Fuji Sensia 100 and Velvia 50 when using slides. All these are developed by a standard commercial lab. The black and white pictures are taken with the same Pentax camera and with a Leica M3. The black and white films are mostly Ilford 125. I developed those pictures myself. I switched to digital in July 2008 and color color pictures since them are shot with a Canon 40D equipped with a Sigma 18-200mm f3.5-6.3 DC OS lens.

Movies are made from pictures animated with Ken Burns effects and iSight camera footage (using the built-in iSight of a MacBook). Everything is edited in iPhoto and iMovie. Further compression and transcoding is performed with MPlayer. All movies are viewable with VLC version 0.8.6 or higher.

The photos and movies are licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial-No Derivative Works 3.0 License. You can reuse and distribute these images unmodified as long as you attribute them to me. The conditions of the attribution are a mention of my name (Jean-Olivier Irisson) and a mention/link to this page (https://maururu.net/photo/). I may change the license type for a more permissive one if someone is really interested in modifying or selling some of the pictures. Just ask: jo.irisson (at) gmail.com.
